Anybody want to play HackMaster Basic?

Just checking to see if anybody is interested in getting a HackMaster Basic game going. I am tired of edition wars and I am looking to play a fantasy RPG for the sake of having fun. Just post a reply and we can see if we can get a game up and running.

I'm interested in trying the game out. I've heard some good things about HackMaster Basic.

I am reading the book...it is Old School gaming. Seems pretty good so far. It feels like old D&D with some of the rules cleaned up.

Any ideas as far as time and place?

Well... Organized Play would probably be the place.

As for a time. Well Wednesday or Thursday nights work best for me.

Oops! Guess I should have paid more attention as far as location!

Right now my gaming group is in turmoil and I am looking for something else. I will have to check the old schedule. Are we talking a weekly thing? That might be a little tricky with some of my other commitments. I could probably swing it twice a month on either of those nights. The wife will be the ultimate "decider".

You will get no grief from me on this one. I am married and I COMPLETELY understand. Once or twice a month is pretty much my master plan. Just a casual game for people who want play a fun game.

Where do you find a copy of said game? As I'd mentioned to you I also propose the alternative system of Savage Worlds with the fantasy companion.

I can do Thursdays, and my place has a big table. b_side (Bess) is also interested in playing.

Seneca, we could play at your house or Organized Play. Whatever everybody wants to do. I would reccomend that we meet at Organized Play the first time we meet.

I have Pubcrawlers at Roger's Place starting at 7pm on Thursday. I could make it over to Organized Play if you set the time for earlier.

I do not get off work until 6PM. 7PM would be the earliest I could get there, but if this Thursday is when everybody wants to do it let's see if we can make it happen.
